The AMI Afterschool Academy at Charles Drew K-8 Center offers free afterschool music instruction for students in grades 2–6. Students meet multiple days each week to learn percussion, build music skills, and play together in a supportive, structured environment led by professional teaching artists.

Eligibility and Enrollment:
Registration is limited to students enrolled at Charles Drew K-8 Center. Students enrolled in the TACOLCY Afterschool Program at Charles Drew have free access to the AMI Afterschool Academy. Expanded enrollment for additional schools will be announced by email and on this site.
