IT'S BIGGER THAN MUSIC
IMPACT & PROGRESS

Laniyah’s Story
In third grade, Laniyah stood out as a trumpet player. Her work earned a $10,000 scholarship to attend the Interlochen Center for the Arts summer camp.

Soon after, her school’s music program was removed due to funding decisions tied to her zip code. Access to music disappeared.

Now in fifth grade, Laniyah is part of AMI. She has consistent instruction, a place to play, and the chance to keep growing.
Her mother shares:

“Having music back is a sense of joy and connection. It reminds us how powerful and creative it is. It gives students and families a meaningful way to connect.”
